A month of review from from an IEM and Sony audio product user
Hello, Just a casual IEM user who just wanted an earbuds that suit my daily need of watching some series and anime while heading to bed In 4am in the morning.Comfort – Just upgraded from the Sony c510 which are insanely comfortable and fit my ears very perfectly. Though the Sony c710 is kinda bigger than those it fits me pretty good and its lighter too than the 510.Sound Quality – So, lets go to the main aspect that everyone wants it for. Even with the 5mm driver that Sony is still using its as clear as you hear your mom screaming from another room for you to find the remote which next to her pillow. Its very clear and you can hear the beats with the vocals very clearly. Sony has really refined their driver to the utmost degree that it can compete good 12mm and dual drivers earbuds.ANC – The sole reason for my upgrade from the sony c 510 was the ANC and these pack some serious noise reduction even without the ANC as the C 710 fits like a glove in the ear. With actual usage in train without ANC you can hear the Chai wala bhaiya screaming 20 ka coffee (supposed to be 10). But as soon as you kick ANC on the reels of you nearby uncle about politics go away, even the rattling of Indian train goes to some degree(would rate the ANC around 80% noise reduction in a train).Build & Battery- I have the cheapest Black one has it came in at a good offer which just costed me only 4.8k. The build kinda feels cheap but not that bad but the closing lid does feel very fragile. From my experience from the budget sonyc510 the c710’s case feels plasticky and not that premium. Battery life does last me around 8 hours as advertised without ANC as these are pretty good without them too. Charging speed is also good by giving me an hour of backup in few minutes.Overall, I would say the people who are used to the cheap bass heavy Boat and realme give will find the sony c710 not that impressive but for the audiophiles who do really appreciate the single beats and vocals coming in your ear will love it. The sony sound connect app does provide a good customization for user to go bass heavy, vocal heavy or just tune it to their liking. For me the touch on the buds too fill kind of finiky as you have to touch mostly near the center and kinda accurate.Totally worth the price would prefer getting the blue transparent one as they look pretty good. The NSA one is just a naming scheme for the black buds that provide no type c cable in the box. Important note for new user who are not able to connect to the buds on pc, you gotta hold the case button for 5 seconds with the buds inside them (you ll see the light blink) which puts the buds into pairing mode.(Welcome)

Amazing sound quality and features but comes with lot of issues
This earbud has amazing sound quality, build quality and features.Though it has lot of issues:- Frequent disconnection of one earbuds from phone- Abnormal battery behaviour- Issue with charging- Gets connected sometimes even when the earbuds are in charging case and is sufficiently charged.Since purchase I’ve replaced it twice.

Good enough for most people, well built
They are pretty good, the noise cancellation is very good, certainly an upgrade from samasung galaxy buds 2, which is what am coming from. The bluetooth connection, both it’s range and it’s stability is also better. The audio quality is good enough for me and I assume will be for most people, I am no audiophile but then it you are one then I don’t think you would be looking at bluetooth anyways. Calls are also great both for me as well as for the person on the other end, the battery life is good, I regularly get 5ish hrs but I wish the battery display on their mobile app was better, instead of a accurate battery percentage you only get 100-90-70-50-20 for the case and at 20 it dies, never goes bellow 20 which was initially confusing to me. Also yes it’s built well, better than nothing and one plus and all those companies, definitely it’s also slightly more expensive than those but in my humble opinion the built quality, for and finish is worth that extra money

Perfect for their price, ratings are irrelevant and non-justified
I have owned WF-C700n for one and a half years now (in pictures left C710, right C700). For second purchase I chose these updated ones (old ones go to my wife). Sound signature is the same excellent sony. Through sound connect app, you can tweak the hell out of signatures. I’ve always loved sony’s clearbass tech, which I keep 1-2 notches above 0 to get that sweet in-place bass (this tech was there in my sony disc walkman, and that was one of the purest sounds I’ve heard..some magic in Sony DACs). And the eq settings at 0 0 0 1 2 (in pictures). Perfect. Anyone saying these are underpowered or less bass need to get their songs and settings right. Or they need to get their ears checked for low freq insensitivity. I am an audiophile and for their 5mm units, they give a surprising soundstage. Instrument separation stands out for the most part. Close to studio grade in 5-7k INR? This is as close as it gets.I haven’t done detailed tests on battery, but given their size, and the charging case as well, they’ll definitely last longer than 4-5 hours of my 700s. Surprisingly, I cannot perceive any change in weight. They weight the same as 700s as per me. A bit larger size actually helps my situation owing to bigger ears that I have (in pictures). 710s actually fit lot more snug, 700s used to be bit too small and usually had to put them in snug with some effort, clearly can be seen in pictures.Although I personally would’ve preferred tactile buttons as in 700s, but sonly has cleverly designed the touch sensitive area as nestled in a convex space such that you cannot touch that in any way while you are adjusting the phones. Kudos to the design team for good ergo and practicality. All in all, the terrible ratings (some 3.6 as of writing this review in June 2026) do not AT ALL justify what these babies have to offer. Don’t look at those ratings. You cannot in any universe go wrong with these.

Expected More, Got Less — Disappointed After a Week
Honest Review After a Week of UseI’ve been using these earbuds for about a week now, and here’s a completely honest take based on daily usage.Sound QualityThe sound feels a little too flat for me personally. The bass is either non-existent or extremely low. You won’t get that punch or immersive experience while listening to music. If your music taste leans toward genres like EDM or hip-hop, these will likely disappoint you.ConnectivityMultipoint connectivity was one of the main reasons I bought these. They do allow me to connect both my phone and laptop at the same time, but in real-world use it feels pretty underwhelming. For example, if I’m playing a game on my laptop and I’ve died, I might want to scroll through reels on my phone while I wait. But I can’t do that because even if the game is minimized, the earbuds still keep playing the laptop audio. The phone becomes unusable for audio unless I manually disconnect the earbuds from the phone. Laptops usually let you change the audio output device, but phones don’t offer that flexibility. So even though both devices are connected, switching between them isn’t seamless. There’s no quick toggle or switch in the app, and I really wish there were. Even better would have been a setup where the left earbud could play from one device and the right from another. To make matters worse, I’ve experienced random disconnections from my laptop even when it’s right in front of me. Sometimes the connection just drops, and I have to turn Bluetooth off and on again to get things working. That kind of instability completely defeats the purpose of having multipoint in the first place.Battery LifeBattery life is okay but nothing impressive. I get around six to seven hours with ANC turned on. With the charging case, I can stretch it through the day, but it still feels inconvenient compared to neckbands. Carrying the case around all the time just to avoid running out of battery is a hassle I didn’t have before.Design and ComfortThe earbuds fit reasonably well, but the right one always feels a bit loose. I find myself readjusting it every few minutes, and honestly, I feel like I’m going to lose it one of these days. On top of that, they start causing discomfort after about an hour of continuous use, especially if you’re wearing them indoors for work or travel.Build quality on the earbuds themselves is good, but the case feels cheap. The lid is loose, flimsy, and makes this annoying rattling sound when moved. It doesn’t give you any sense of premium finish, and that’s disappointing considering the price.Touch ControlsTouch controls are not great. Adjusting volume takes four taps, which is already too much, and half the time the earbuds don’t even register your input. You’ll end up repeatedly tapping your ear hoping something happens. Accidental touches are also a constant problem. If I’m lying down and my pillow presses against the earbud, it might start playing music or switch modes without warning. The Spotify double-tap shortcut is especially frustrating. Even after disabling the feature, I still find music randomly starting up without any clear input. It’s inconsistent and gets in the way more than it helps.ANC and Ambient ModeActive Noise Cancellation is decent. It won’t block out 100 percent of background noise, but when you’re listening to music, it reduces outside sounds by about 90 to 95 percent, which is enough for most environments. Ambient mode, on the other hand, is very underwhelming. It tries to let in surrounding sounds, but they come through with such low clarity and poor volume that it’s barely useful. What’s worse is that Ambient mode sometimes activates on its own, even though I’ve disabled all the auto features in the app. I haven’t figured out why it does that, but it’s pretty annoying.Smart FeaturesAuto-pause when removing the earbuds works well, and the in-ear detection is accurate. Google Assistant integration exists and works most of the time, but it’s not consistent enough to rely on every time. Sometimes the activation is delayed or just doesn’t respond at all.Final VerdictOn paper, these earbuds offer solid features like multipoint, ANC, and smart integration, but the actual experience doesn’t live up to expectations. The sound is average at best, the controls are frustrating, the fit isn’t secure, and the connection is unreliable. For the price, I expected much more polish and reliability. If you get these at a heavy discount and your needs are basic, they might do the job. Otherwise, there are better options out there that offer more consistent performance and fewer annoyances.

worst product of sony I have bought ever
Please don’t invest in the WF-C710 model. I had previously used the WF-1000XM5 earbuds; it’s the best, and they were great. One of the earbuds got a loose connection, and there is no service centre here in India. So I was looking for a faster, cheaper option, and I bought this WF-C710NSA model, which was a disaster.Right after 2 months, it started to have loose contact in the charging case, and my calls and music were auto-connecting to the earbuds.- The earbuds are so cheap that every time you unplug them from your ear, the earbuds it opens up like an inverted umbrella.- The earbud touch sensitivity is a bit curved inside, so we have to be specific about the centre of the ear piece for the next song or for taking calls. When I tried to register the product in sony website to repair or claim warranty. Its product registration is not matching with the official site

TOTALLY WORTH IT !!!
Sony WF-C710N ReviewLooks – 5/5They really look pretty and already feel better than all competitors and options in this range. The transparent blue design gives off a nostalgic vibe, while still looking premium. It enhances the whole experience of using these earbuds and makes them stand out visually.Sound – 5/5As an audiophile, I can say these are solid. The sound is vibrant, rich in bass, and overall just so good. I’ve used many expensive headphones and earbuds, but I really love the signature Sony sound here. The lows and highs are excellent, and the mids are decent too. I usually listen to hip-hop, rock, and alternative genres, and these earbuds handle them amazingly well.Comfort – 5/5I’m amazed at how light and comfortable these are. I’ve used IEMs before, and they were so uncomfortable that I couldn’t use them for long. Since these earbuds have a similar shape, I was curious if they would fit me well, and surprisingly, they are extremely comfortable. They come with different ear tips so you can choose the best fit, making them super wearable. I can comfortably wear them continuously for 4–5 hours without any discomfort.Controls – 4/5The earbuds have touch sensors, which look and feel pretty nice. However, when I’m lying on my bed for sleep and switch positions, the sensors sometimes get triggered automatically, pausing music or changing the ambient noise settings. You can adjust this in the app, but it’s still a bit tricky. Overall, the controls are good, just not perfect for lying down or casual sleep use.Battery – 4/5The battery life is very solid. I’m a heavy user, yet I only need to charge them about once a week. They easily last through long listening sessions without any issues, making them reliable for daily use.Worth it – 5/5Yes, these earbuds are absolutely worth it. They exceeded my expectations and feel like a very solid pair. The noise cancellation is strong, around 4/5, and the ambient mode is also excellent at 4/5. Overall, they deliver great value for the price.

Does the job.
Okok. Does the job tier. I got, what i was looking for. I didnt want chinese trash that doesnt respond to eq adjustment well. And ANC is good for price. Works well with iphone.More over those chinese print ldac just for sake of features. I was looking for one whose drivers were well tuned for AAC.

ANC’s good, but the battery life could be better..
